Beach cruising is made simple with the Broadwalk’s 3 speed Shimano Nexus hub gear. All gearing is sealed, protecting the gears from environmental damage from sand, water and debris. Find even greater protection of your Broadwalk’s moving parts with the chainguard that prevents loose clothing getting caught while you ride.
This beach cruiser’s 26” wheelset is smaller than its retro cousins which opt for 700C, or approximately mid 27” sizing. The benefit of the smaller wheels is greater maneuverability of your Broadwalk, and being lower to the ground makes it easier to mount and dismount. A low step through lightweight alloy frame contributes further to greater control on the road and easy mounting, with the added benefit of greater rust resistance.
Even long flowing dresses are an option on the Broadwalk, or a towel wrapped around your waist, especially with the low step through frame. Store your towel and a change of clothes in the basket on the front, strap a bag to the rear rack for even greater carrying capacity.
